During the recent research by dieticians, it has been revealed out that most of the diseases are caused due to excessive weight put up.  If you follow a regular abs workout routine, then you can shed a good deal of weight from your body.  Most of the exercises you would find are done by lying down or crunches exercise that is helpful in toning up the muscles of your body.

However, if you don’t have to enough time to devote to exercise, you can also opt for standing exercise, while talking over phone, or watching television.  You would be startled that with a combination of healthy diet and exercise, you can get a toned and trimmed abdomen.

You can stand with your legs stretched out at the shoulders width, and make sure the feet are pointing towards the front.  Now raise your hand towards the ceiling and make the fist tight.  Starts pulling your hands down and simultaneously start clenching them.  After that try to raise one of your knees and straight up to 90-degree angle, make an effort that the thigh touches your stomach and then return to the normal position.

You can also try it with the opposite leg.  Practice the same at least by 30 times a week.  If the patient of the cardio vascular disease is perform such exercises make sure that you do not put much of the stress on your heart.  You can also practice this exercise, but still try to perform them very easily.

This is a very easy exercise, and you call this exercise a good body tonner.  Since this a standing abs exercise, so again you will have to stand with your legs apart at the shoulders width and the arms stretched out at the side.  Your hands should be straight and now by using hips you need to bend your body from side to side.  This would burn your body’s calories very fast.  Try to perform it 100 times per week.  This exercise does not allow the skin to sag and simultaneously it makes your body flexible and well trimmed.

This exercise at times proves to be a great massager to your spine.  In this exercise also, you need to stand with your legs apart at the shoulders width.  Now begin with your legs, make your knees slightly bent, and turn your body from side to side. In this exercise, you have to turn slightly down towards the floor and at the same time, stretch your body towards back.  If the patient is suffering from spine related disease then it is great boon for them.

One of the most interesting exercises is that of ball abdominal exercises.  This exercise is very crucial since to perform this exercise you need abdominal strength to work out on your body.  There are several exercises related to it for instance ball crunches, ball rock balls, ball bicycle crunches, ball side crunches, and ball reverse crunches are some of the most effective exercise for abs.  If you would practice the exercises like ball jackknife this is the best abdominal exercise because it involves all the three legs, arms, and chest.

Now assume the position in which the toe is in on the top of the stability ball and your hands are in the pushups position.  Make sure the body needs to be facing towards the floor while your back needs to be completely straight.  Now from here lift up your hip in the air, and let the ball roll forward keeping your leg straight.  Try holding the lifted position for the two seconds, and returning to the same position.  You can start this exercise with the ten reps and do it in the fifteen sets.
